Barncats typically live on or near a farm, occasionally where cows, dogs, horses and sheep live. Barncats usually take up resisdence in the farm's barn Inside, there is a warm smell of hay and the barn is usually crawling with mice and rats. Barncats can sleep on top of a large haystack, and to get water, they can climb up onto the roof and drink from the gutter. Some twolegs who live nearby occasionally leave food such as tuna or milk out for them.
